Jr./Sr. Elite Camp
July 22nd - 25th

 Jr. Elite Camp: Ages 10-18
Sr. Elite Camp: 9th Grade-12th Grade
Participants have the option of attending as residents [full live-in campers] or commuters [day only campers].  

The camp is designed for all youth players who are looking to challenge themselves in a competitive environment. Training sessions are designed to help players improve on their technical ability and develop better tactical awareness.  Players will have the opportunity to compete daily through a combination of small-sided and full-sided matches. Goalkeeper specific training will also be included before joining field players in training and matches. 
The Elite camp is also open to club teams. We require that a minimum of 12 field players from your team sign-up to guarantee training together.  The staff will provide a college recruiting Q&A to give high school aged players insight into how the college recruiting process works.  Parents are encouraged to attend all evening matches as well as the college Q&A.   Each player will receive a written evaluation at the end of camp.

FEES/WAIVER: All campers must register online and sign a waiver.  Camp fee is is payable by credit card through our online registration. Overnight camp is $650, Commuter Camp only $550.  There is an early registration discount of $25 if you sign up by June 1st. Full payment is due July 1st in order to reserve rooms and honor roommate requests..

TEAM DISCOUNT:  Bring your team to camp and take advantage of an opportunity to receive high level coaching to meet your teams needs.  A minimum of 12 players is required to receive the team discount.  For more information regarding the team discount please contact Nathan Jones (n4jones@odu.edu). Discounts received after each player registers and completes camp.

 LOCATION: Dominion Soccer Academy Camp Sessions are conducted on the practice/game fields at Old Dominion University. 

LODGING: Resident campers will be housed in ODU dorms with an air-conditioned rooms located on campus.   Dorms are in walking distance to both the ODU soccer facility and cafeteria.  There will be two campers per room.  If you wish to have a specific roommate, requests may be made in the registration process.   Be advised that roommate requests are not honored until full payment has been made and all required paperwork has been received by both parties.  Any further questions regarding lodging, please refer to the FAQ tab at the top of the page or contact us at info@dominionsocceracademy.com 

KEYS/DAMAGE: In the event your child/ward damages any Old Dominion University property, you will be charged for all costs.  In the event your child/ward misplaces or loses his dorm/suite key, you will be responsible for the $220.00 key replacement fee.

MEALS: Campers will dine at the main dining facility for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Commuters will be provided lunch and dinner.

STAFF: Dominion Soccer Academy has a very experienced staff. Players will be under the instruction of coaches from ODU as well as other college programs. Each year, we conduct background checks on all coaches and staff members. The coach/camper ratio is approximately 1 coach to every 12 campers. Attendance is taken prior to each session and during daily suite meetings.  Both staff coaches and Certified Athletic Trainers reside in the dormitories with campers.  Campers are closely monitored and obligated to attend all sessions and meals.

(1) Pillow, pillow case, Long student bed sheets, Blanket
(2) Towels/washcloths
(1) Laundry bag
(1) Alarm clock (optional)
(1) Small carrying bag
(1) Lanyard/keychain
(1) Sunscreen (very important!!)
Miscellaneous Toiletry Articles and a WATER BOTTLE
* There is a laundry facility in the dorms for use of the campers for a fee.

TRANSPORTATION NEEDS:  Transportation to and from Norfolk airport is available by request for a fee of $40(cash only) round-trip.  If you have transportation needs, please have your request into us no later than one week prior to camp.
